Ayumi Nojiri

Ayumi Nojiri was born and raised in Osaka, Japan. Gaining influence from her mother, whose profession took her across the globe, Ayumi relocated to New York at twenty-four to see all the things her mother saw.

She started ceramics in New York out of the necessity for plates and cups to use at home. She looked in a lot of shops, but couldn’t find her “style” — and if she couldn’t find it… then, “let’s make it.” She now has enough cups & plates at home.
