Most workshops are ticketed through Eventbrite; some travel off-site — Kinka has taught everywhere from tea rooms to Adobe’s New York office.

The pantry

A small, serious pantry

The food third of ART + FOOD + PLANTS: seasonal tastings pull from local growers and from one careful shelf of staples.

Ippodo matcha
Kyoto tea, for the Sunday whisk
Koshihikari rice
the good rice
Tomita Brewery
sake & sake-lees goods
Irving Farm coffee
roasted in New York

Rice is not an abstraction here: before Kinka, EunYoung grew New York City’s first rice paddies — on Randall’s Island, in 2010.
